[ARCHIVED] Tips for Holiday Travel

checkpoint sign

The TSA website offers tips for holiday travelers to help make the passenger travel experience, including passenger screening, as smooth as possible. Airline websites and apps are also available and a good source of information.  Be sure to arrive at the airport early, at least two hours before your scheduled flight time as passenger security checkpoints are likely to be busy.  Check the TSA and airline websites in advance of packing your bags so that you are familiar with the current baggage requirements, any restrictions on what can be placed in your checked and carry-on bags, and what to expect during the passenger screening process.
