BILLINGS LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
BILLINGS, MONTANA
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received addressed to the City Clerk, of the City of Billings, 210 North 27th Street, Billings, Montana 59101, or P.O. Box 1178, Billings, Montana 59103, and publicly opened at 2:00 p.m., local time on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 by the City of Billings, Billings, Montana for the following:
AIP 3-30-0008-061-2019
Twelve (12) ARFF Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
(SCBA) Ensembles
This work is to include all tools, equipment, materials and labor to complete this project.
Bids must be sealed and delivered to the Office of the City Clerk in City Hall, Billings, Montana, at or before 2:00 p.m., local time on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, and marked "Bid for AIP 3-30-0008-061-2019 ARFF Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBAs)”, Billings Logan International Airport.” The bidder’s name and address shall appear in the lower left-hand corner of the envelope.
Bid Bond. All bids must be accompanied by lawful monies of the United States or a Cashier's Check, a Certified Check, Bid Bond, Bank Money Order or Bank Draft, drawn and issued by a National Banking Association located in the State of Montana, or by any Banking Corporation incorporated under the Laws of the State of Montana, in an amount equal to not less than ten (10) percent of the total bid, payable to the order of the City of Billings as liquidated damages in the event said successful bidder shall fail or refuse to execute the contract in accordance with the terms of his bid.
Supply Contract Bond. After a contract is awarded, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a separate Supply Contract Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
Funding for This Contract is Federally Assisted. Contractors at every tier must comply with applicable federal requirements including but not limited to: the Buy American Preference, Foreign Trade Restriction, Government-wide Debarment and Suspension, Government-wide Requirements for Drug-free Workplace, as contained in the bid documents.
Title VI Solicitation Notice. The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
