Cape Air will continue to provide round trip air service between Billings and five eastern Montana communities. Awarded the Essential Air Service (EAS) contract for the third time, Cape Air will carry passengers between Billings and Glasgow, Glendive, Havre, Sidney and Wolf Point. The federally subsidized EAS contract is awarded to air carriers servicing urural parts of the country where air travel would be prohibitively expensive without the subsidy. Federal subsidies make the EAS flight possible, keeping passengers' share of the airfare cost at $49 a flight.
Cape Air has been at the Billings Airport since 2013. Congratulations Cape Air!
