The Billings Logan International Airport will be conducting "live" fire training at the Airport for the Aviation and Transit Department, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Division employees.
This training will occur on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from approximately 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. at the Airport’s burn training facility located in the northwest section of the Airport property.
Visible smoke may be visible in the area, particularly the Billings Heights during these periods. This is a routine operational training exercise that is planned, FAA-mandated, and controlled in nature.
