If using a Montana driver's license as identification to board a flight, be sure to check if it is a REAL ID-compliant license.

Current, unexpired Montana drivers’ licenses or IDs that are  not REAL-ID compliant will be accepted by the Transportation Security Administration to board domestic, commercial flights and access federal facilities until October 1, 2021.
