Summer travel season at the Airport starts Memorial Day weekend.  Early morning departures (those between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM) have become crowded  and the line to get through the TSA Passenger Screening Process can become long.  In order to avoid missing a flight, Airport, airline, and TSA officials all recommend arriving at the Airport at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours before your scheduled flight time for these morning flights.  The Airport Terminal opens at 4:00 each day.

Also, to avoid delays in screening, be sure to check your luggage, both carry-on and checked, for items that cannot be in carry-on bags and must be checked, and to verify what items can be packed in your checked luggage.
